On Patience

Have I shared how patience is not my strong point?  I mean, I'll wait patiently in line or in traffic or whathaveyou, but patience for wider, grander, compelling life events... that gets a little harder.  Surely I'm not alone with this, am I?  Let me tell you though, I'm catching on to being patient because, really, what is the alternative?  To undervalue or under-appreciate this moment makes for a pointless and fruitless journey.  And, frankly, that would suck.  So here I am again faced with trusting the unfolding.  Until I remember how very awesome it feels when something so unexpected presents itself, out of nowhere, in the most mind-blowing way... and then, yes... worth the wait.
