Into the weekend...

Now go have a restful, inspiring, life affirming weekend.  I plan to do the same.  We've got a "red carpet" restaurant opening to attend where our friend is one of the head chefs.  I will be dressing up, eating lots of food and getting slightly, but not entirely, loopy.

New Inspiration:: New Collection

Finally getting my tail in gear conceptualizing, designing and fine tuning the new pieces for my Fall/Winter 2010 collection.  Lots of things spark inspiration on a moment by moment basis for me, but I'm not very tamed from whence the source may come... simple simple to vintage explosion to avant rarities.  This will be a neat collection of goodies for the everyday to bridal luxury to *I'm wearing this because I can and I look damn phenomenal doing so*.
Anyhow... in the meantime, here's a sneak peek into some of the visual thrills that generated my creative process for the F/W designs.   Enjoy...

Here's the simple, soft, airy, with a hint of vintage lovely...

Here's where I start in about The Summer flying by and where did The Summer go and how is it possible that I have yet to sit on the beach reading a good book when I live a mile from the beach and how sad that The Summer is coming to an end.  But, you know what?  It isn't.  Technically, this season lasts well into September, but the commercial world likes to through our brains into a tizzy fit by shoving Back to School ads through our eye balls and that's just no good.  Why mess with a perfectly fine Summer with fear and sadness of it being over?  No way, no how.  I'm reclaiming the hope of this long and warm and sunshine drenched time with this August Giveaway.
