I went kind of nuts taking pictures of Mars the Dog this week. He's a pretty serious guy; does not get our sense of humor at all. So I love it when he's all smiley and excited about a walk or a friend stopping over because he has a face like what you see above. And then, below, he's kicking back in his sunshine streaming in through the window. See? Serious business. Such a love.
As I mentioned here, I somehow messed up my wrist. This is what it looked like for much of the week. I think it's healing well enough, though, and have been able to take it off now and again. Maybe just a couple more days of it, fingers crossed.
... and here's a shot with the dang brace off (for the purpose of a less cluttered photo). This book is the sweetest reference guide for the domestic-type (I finally caved, admitting to my love of nesting and the comforts of home.). I actually got The Gentle Art of Domesticity a couple of Christmases ago, but pull it out once in a while to look at the lovely photography and naturally nurturing text.
Totally sucked in. Love it.
Totally sucked in. Love it.
I stopped by Sebastian's shop after a post office run and got this photo of him tattooing this on a client (I promise that's not blood. It's just the orange pigment being tattooed into the skin. Really.)
And here's another one from a series I've been photographing of his tattoo flash. Neat, huh?
And then, here are a couple of pieces I made (Ciara Obscura rings + Carousel hair clip) for a local school's silent auction.

So that's that, for now.
Thanks for having a peek!
