I make jewelry. I make hair adornments. And in between -and sometimes during- I drink tea and hot cocoa and port wine (and sometimes even black russians- but usually just a half of a small glass since I'm a light weight... just ask my dear friend, Meggy and my lovely husband, Sebastian. They'll give you the scoop.)I also eat food and ride my purple and cream colored bicycle named Liliput (Lili) and take walks during each evening with my husband and boxer doggy, Mars. We chat about how the day unfolded... clients, art, family, friends, business, random thoughts and sometimes random spats. Mars just puts up with our inane conversations so he can swiftly get to the next tree or fence or tall blade of grass to pee on. We are very content with our lives together. It hasn't always been this way- but it certainly is now and I totally appreciate where we are in life and where we're going. So, I suppose, this blog is a direct response to where we've been and where we're going. I swore I would never ever have my own blog- but like many many things in my life, I've had to let go of my resistance and just enjoy the flow. This blog is about the flow... sometimes about my life and life around me ~ but most times about my jewelry and how it got to the point of the photos you will see.
This big ol' ring above is one of the first pieces that I made when I was first starting out as a business- and one of the very first pieces I was really proud of. I call it an evolving form and it's what I based my entire company philosophy off of (see
